Up for grabs is a 25$ shopping spree at Simon Says Stamp:
Joining us for this week's challenge are designers Julie Ebersole and Kari Webster.
And, without further ado... my 1-layer card, my masking masterpiece (hee hee):
I used lawn fawn's "sunny skies" and "bannerific" sets for my card.
I first stamped the banner, masked it and then, yes, cut out all of the clouds by hand, masked them, and sponged antique linen distress ink over-top. And kept the masks in place to stamp Hero Arts' envelope pattern background over the whole thing in aqua mist ink. I just love it. It has a stationary-boutique look to it, without any layers... I love what you can do with some simple masking tape!
I'm also linking up to this week's CAS-ual Fridays challenge: on cloud 9. I think it's the perfect fit :)
Now it's your turn! I can't wait to see your fantastic 1-layer creations!
