I heart you {just ME digital stamps}

Hey there.

Sorry I'm overdue for the last day of Just ME digital stamp highlights. I took yesterday off, mostly because the family went out in the morning and Sofia very kindly treated her siblings to hot chocolates at Starbucks. She ordered at the counter by herself, asked for their medium size and whipped cream too, please. We should have schooled her on how to order the "short" size, instead of the three "grandes" she ended up with. The kids were insane for the rest of the day. I have not seen a sugar rush that bad since Christmas. But she was so sweet about using her gift card to make them happy that we let them drink it all.

Back to the stamps!  The last image I'm showing off might just be my favorite. I love a floral, leafy wreath, and this one is heart-shaped just in time for Valentine's day crafting.

I heart you {just ME digital stamps}

The wreath has a beautiful presence, and doesn't take long to color because each leaf isn't very large.  I love that!

A few little dew drops from the Pretty Pink Posh store are the perfect embellishments.

I hope you like it!

long time no see! {just ME digital stamps}

Hi there!  I'm doing a week-long look into my valentine digi stamps. You can find there in the shop, or try your luck at winning a stamp or two!

It's all about the giraffes today! I designed 2 giraffes. They're pretty much the same guy, but one is shorter and fatter-faced, and the other is thin with a much longer neck. Depending on the project you're working on, one or the other might fit better.

By the way, it feels like I'm talking about me and my sisters. I'm the short, fat one. ha.

long time no see! {just ME digital stamps}

But short and fat can still be cute, right? These little guys look so sweet on treat bags! I cut the bags using Lawn Fawn's goodie bag die, and cut the focal image so that it would have the handle cut out at the top.

The longer, leaner giraffe twin makes a cute "i miss you" card. I did some simple shading around the giraffe using copic markers, feathering the color out so that it fades to white. Then, I masked the giraffe and did some ink splattering all around.

I hope you like them!

GIVEAWAY:  leave a comment on this blog post, telling me if you're the longer, leaner sister or the short fat one (you don't really have to do that, just leave me a comment!) and I'll pick and announce a winner in tomorrow's post.

you're the honeybee to my flower {just ME digital stamps}

Hi there!

If you're just tuning in, I've unveiled my valentine collection of digital stamps, and they're available for purchase in my etsy shop - click!  To celebrate, I'm giving away an image or 2 a day for a week! And there is a big giveaway for the entire collection on instagram (find it *here*)

Today, it's all about the birds and the bees....uh, the bee and the big flower...

First up, the little girl in the honeybee costume:

you're the honeybee to my flower {just ME digital stamps}

Truth be told, my little niece turned 5 in October and wanted a honeybee party. I set out to illustrate some artwork for my sister to use in the decorations, but I didn't get her done in time.

Turns out she's perfect for valentine's day!  I'll be printing this image in a full sheet for Maia to color for her class friends. For this card, I framed her out with *this* Pretty Pink Posh scallop rectangle frame. I just love it! And little sequins and dew drops from the PPP shop as well.

Next up, the little flower boy:

I find little girls easier to illustrate than little boys (and I don't think that I'm alone on that one, which is why it's so hard to find cute images for boys!)

But I think he turned out adorably.  I love how he's holding the huge flower! I think this would be an adorable card for a young boy to color for his mama, or his grandma.

For valentine's day, I think they look best when they're cozied up together:

I hope you like them!

GIVEAWAY: leave me a comment and I'll pick someone to win both the bee girl and flower boy digital stamps. The winner will be announced in tomorrow's post!

Speaking of winners... the winner of yesterday's stinky valentine images is:

Congratulations, Dotty Jo!  Please email me at mom2sofia(at)gmail(dot)com to claim your prize!

stinky valentines... {just ME digital stamps}

Hi there!

I wanted to look at 2 digis today, and I grouped the selections by stinky factor. Let's take a closer look at the piglet and the skunk.

stinky valentines {just ME digital stamps}

The skunk is one of my faves! I just think he looks kind of cuddly and plush.  My 10 year old daughter, Sofia, helped me come up with a fun sentiment (or should I say scentiment) that we haven't seen with other skunk stamps.

I printed him out, colored him, and popped him up onto the card-front with foam adhesive. If you print him out without re-sizing, he is the perfect size to plop onto a card. You may want to shrink him for little class valentines or tags.

The pig is my other little stinker:

I love him, sitting in the mud with mud on his head, and a little fly flittering around his cute stink. I totally made up a new word there, didn't I? Flies don't exactly flutter... and they don't buzz around... what's the word? oy.

For the next project, I shrunk the pig a tiny bit so he'd fit onto the front of a pillow box. We just need to add a little "hogs and kisses" sentiment somewhere in there and it's perfect for class valentines!

I hope you like these little stinkers!

GIVEAWAY: same deal as yesterday. Leave me a comment below and I'll gift these 2 files to someone in tomorrow's post.

Speaking of, yesterday's winner is....

Just ME digital stamps, valentine collection

Hi there!

If you follow me on instagram, you already know that I updated my etsy shop with all new digi stamps. I made a crop of new images that are perfect for Valentine's Day.  I love the idea of digis for class valentines, especially: you can print a bunch per page, and have your kids color them in. That's what I'll be doing!

I have 7 new images in the shop, and I'd like to introduce you to each one over the next few days.

Let's start with a pair of cheesy mice!

the cheesiest mice {justmedigitalstamps}

I love the plump little mice! The guy has something a little gouda to gift his gal with for Valentine's (haha, I can't stop with the puns.)

the cheesiest mice {justmedigitalstamps}

Digital stamps are so fun, because you can use the mice separately, you can mirror image the one without the cheese, you can re-size them and use them with other stamps in your collection - the possibilities are endless.

Would you like a chance to win these little guys? Leave me a comment below and I'll pick a winner by tomorrow! There will be a chance to win a new digi file every day. And visit me on instragram, where you could win the entire collection.

If you create something using my digis, I'd love to see! Tag your instagram photo with #justmedigitalstamps.

lawn fawn's CHA sneak week!

This week, Lawn Fawn is giving you a sneak peek at everything they'll be bringing with them to CHA, and it's gonna be their biggest release yet!

I'm still waiting on most of the stamps sets, and all of the dies and papers to come to me (shaking my fist at you, Canada Post!) so I went old school with 2 cards. Just stamps and ink, and *gasp* fussy cutting.

lawn fawn's CHA sneak week!

I love this card. Not to toot my own horn, though - it's the images that are so stinking cute! This set is called Loads of Love, and you can add faces to the socks and undies. I made sad-faced socks, separated by loads of laundry. Will they ever meet again? Sometimes yes, sometimes no! We have tons of socks with no match anymore! It's like a cheesy hallmark movie waiting to be made.

lawn fawn's CHA sneak week!

This next one is fairy cute! haha. It's from the new set, Fairy Friends, and I tried to use a lot of the images on my card so you could see how great this set is for scene-building! My daughter Maia was asking me, every step of the way: can I have it now? can I have it now? can I have it now?

baby, chill!

It was supposed to be for her friend's birthday party next weekend, but I guess I have to make another fairy card now.

I hope you like the cards, and there's so much more to see on the LF blog all week - click!

new year news!

Happy new year!

The Christmas decorations are down, we've toasted the new year, and now I'm ready to get down to business (ok, not completely, I had a few mimosas yesterday.)

This year is starting out with fun news: I'll be joining the Neat and Tangled design team, AND illustrating stamps for them. I can't tell you how thrilled I am to be working with Danielle. She is just the sweetest person, and let me slide my first stamp set in for the January release. Eeep. Literally, slide it in. I joined the team and she was all: great! do you have anything ready right now? Our deadline is in 2 days.

ha.

If you receive the Neat and Tangled newsletter, you'll have seen a little preview of my set. It looks something like this:

I've also been working at putting together a valentine collection of digi stamps for my etsy shop. I hope to have them up in the shop by the end of the weekend!  Here's a first look that I shared on instagram a few days ago.

Cheers to a beautiful new year!

♥.
