I'm just popping in with a card I'd made for the recent Paper Crafts call... I love the vintage-poster feel of it, and how I have no idea what to do with it now, since no one I know is having a 16th birthday anytime soon :)
(sooo, on that note, if anyone needs a very girly 16th birthday card, let me know and I'll pop it in the mail for you.)
The banner image is from the same "radiant banner" stamp - I stamped it again onto white card-stock and cut it out. I adhered it slightly off to the side (in keeping with my vintage-poster feel... but maybe it just looks lopsided to you? hee.)
I have a few more "rejects" to share with you next week, and the one that got picked up? You'll have to wait until next year to see it in print *wink*
Thanks for popping by!
Beautiful reject!:) Unfortunately no 16 year old girls here, just boys:)
ReplyDeleteThis is just gorgeous. I love all the pink, and the darling cake. If you still have this card in a year, I will need it. Eek--I can't believe how old my babies are getting. My youngest just turned 13 yesterday, and my 14 year old is taller than me and still growing.
ReplyDeleteCan I say fabulous reject? However, it's no reject in my opinion, of course. Simply beautiful! And no sweet 16 girlies in my neck of the woods. Hope it finds a home!
ReplyDeleteYour soft pinks look amazing together. Perfect way to use the sunburst and banner. Gorgeous, wish I had a 16 yr-old to give it to!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty card--love all the pinks. The sunburst is fabulous! Congrats on the upcoming pub. :)
ReplyDeleteI can't believe that didn't get picked up! It is awesome. Love the burst behind the cake.
ReplyDeleteThe background is stunning!!! I love the pink and the sparklers on top of the cake!
ReplyDeleteHey, I can add a 16th AND a 50th to yours!
ReplyDeleteThis is so lovely - truly, I don't know why it's a reject! But that's why I am not the editor, right? Anyway - I also love the vintage-y, poster-y effect you gave it - it's perfect!
Love this card for a 16 yr old - the vintage feel of it mixed with the soft pink is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteHugs!

Love that radiant banner - very, very cool. Might have to hunt that one down. And the pink and cream is just so pretty and sophisticated. Perfectly lovely.
ReplyDeleteBrilliant color scheme and I love the Hero Arts bg stamp! So so stunning!
