penelope's blossoms {lawn fawn inspiration week}

Hi there, and welcome to another day of lawn fawn's april inspiration week.  Today, we're all floral and sweetness with Penelope's Blossoms.

You may remember that I styled an easter egg hunt for lawn fawn, using penelope's.  (click!)

And, for a little something new, I created a flat card that would be perfect for mailing out:

I stamped a cluster of blooms and branches, masked off the bottom (very roughly, no precise cutting required!) and stamped the banner so that it overlapped the florals.

I then colored the inside of the sentiment banner with a blue copic marker, feathering the edge that meets the blooms with a colorless blender.

I could see making a full card set, with each sentiment banner a different color!

easter egg hunt {with lawn fawn}

I've created an easter egg hunt party for lawn fawn this month:

Soft blues, light and hot pinks, and accents of black... it all starts with an invitation.

If you'd like to see how I stamped the focal images, click over to the lawn fawn blog today - I created a photo tutorial.

You can't have an easter egg hunt without eggs! The placecards feature the same florals, and party-names spelled out with milo's abcs.

I actually don't own any egg cups, but a mini cupcake wrapper die-cut, flipped upside down, did the job.

And, speaking of cupcakes...

I stamped the florals, masked them, and stamped the bunny so he looked like he was tucked in behind them.

The thank you gift is (what else?) a handful of cadbury creme eggs, tucked into a muslin bag and adorned with a tag that harkens back to the invitation artwork. The thing with those cadbury eggs, you either love them or you hate them.  I can't stop dreaming about them...

I hope you liked the party!

In just a few weeks, I will have a whole new easter bunny party to style, for Sofia's 9th birthday.  You will get a look at those invitations tomorrow!
