Time for another Papertrey Princess challenge! Leigh wanted us to create a card using at least 2 different patterned papers...
We had a great time apple and pumpkin picking as a family on the weekend, and it got me in the mood for some fall card-making :)
I cut strips from 5 different patterned papers and wove them together to create my cozy little tapestry...
I grabbed some twill tape and stamped "home" on the side, from PTI's "wreath for all seasons".
My mat stack 4 die-cut was stamped with the image from the same set... I didn't want to hide too much of my woven layer, so I folded the mat stack around the side...
To finish off, here's a picture of my little pumpkin amid a bunch of pumpkins :) A little taste of the beautiful, but chilly, fall day that inspired today's card.

last class card!
I thought I'd give it one more shot before the week (and camp) is over!
I started out using my new "vintage wallpaper" stamp (my freebie for winning at CAS-ual Fridays!) It's so pretty... I then stamped out the wreath (PTI's wreath for all seasons) on a mat stack 4 shape and layered the blues and teals overtop. I couldn't resist adding a little felt rosette and brought in the green color with the leaves.
In other, non-crafty news, I'm trying to transition my almost 15 month old to 1 nap per day. I think she's sleeping too much during the day, and then ready to party at night... any advice on how to get Maia to last past 10am? And sleep longer than her regular 1 hour nap? Or maybe I'm just dreaming on that last one... You'd think by the 3rd it would all be a breeze - amazing how different they all are!
Thanks, friends!

mother's day
"A mother is a person who seeing there are only four pieces of pie for five people, promptly announces she never did care for pie." ~Tenneva Jordan
Whether you have a mother or you are a mother - this post is for you. It's cliché - but true for me - that I never fully realized the love of a mother until I became one...
So, happy mother's day. If you're a mom, I hope you feel loved and appreciated in a special way. If you have a mom, go ahead and put her up on a pedestal... where she belongs anyways...
