Now that we're good and celebrated (!), I thought I'd share the card I made for the love of my life.
My favorite thing about this card is the card-base. I stared out with a white folded card, and stamped the feather image from "lovestruck" all over. I then stamped the hero arts "envelope pattern" background over the entire thing, and went to work with some distress inks. To highlight the feathers, I went back in with an aquapainter and fresh snow ink and painted each feather. It is so soft and pretty! Just in case you wonder, the sentiment is computer-generated...
Thanks for peeking!
so elegantly beautiful
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary. And many many more. Your card is just beautiful, and I'm glad you finally got to celebrate.
ReplyDeleteBelated anniversary wishes to you both. I hope all are feeling much improved. Your card is beautiful. It is so nice to see the large grommit. I do love them and hardly ever see them anymore. Bring back the grommit hard, I say! I adore the very romantic color combination too. Very ethereal. Lovely work as always.
ReplyDeleteso soft, so beautiful!

Oh, this is so pretty! Not the best word for a man's card, but I can't help but use it... it's soft and gorgeous!
