Saturday Creations {warmest thoughts}

Hi friends!

 I have, what I think is an adorable winter card to share with you today.  When I saw the sentiment, from Precious Remembrance's "christmas stamp set," I immediately started layering on cozy & wintery elements:

- the snowman, in his warm hat and mittens... I bent his arms back to look like he's clumsily holding onto the sentiment sign.  love that.

- the nordic-style-sweater background.  sigh...in red and white, no less.

- the kraft elements... nothing says warm to me like kraft... it lends a homespun quality to projects that I absolutely adore.  I even opted to color the snowman's carrot nose with a kraft-colored marker... an orange would have totally ruined my look.

- ric rac... the pinking edged border reminds me of fabric... and, next to the sweater background, can't help but reinforce the cozy feel.

Thanks for peeking my wintery snowman card!

Have a great weekend, all!
