Hi there, and welcome to day 3 of the Mama Elephant October Stampede! The new release is live and available for purchase in the shop right now! What's your favorite new stamp set? I'm guessing it features these little guys!
Today, I am showing off the new set, Christmas Scene. It features different styles of houses, and some trees and holiday ornaments. Perfect for making snowy christmas scenes! I made a soft pastel card, in non-traditional holiday colors:
I curved the sentiment over the circle cut-out, used embossing paste to show a snow fall in the background, and liquid appliqué to add snowy accents on the trees and house.
Minty green and pink tree trunks! I kept to a tight color scheme to make sure it had a cohesive and stylized feel.
I hope you like it!
GIVEAWAY: Mama Elephant is also giving away three $25 gift certificates over the 3 Stampede days (today is the last day.) To qualify to win, just leave a comment on this blog post. Winners will be selected and announced on the ME blog on Monday, October 19th.

ReplyDeleteI think that this card is so sweet. TFS :-)
ReplyDeleteI love how you did this card. The colors are not Christmas exactly but it still looks pretty and if you wanted, this could be a winter card minus the Seasons Greetings. I have a stamp kind of like this. It's a winter cabin in the woods. For snow on the trees and the roof of the cabin I used white sparkly Stickles! I kind of swirled it around to make it look like fallen snow, and on the trees, I did it here and there because trees never totally get covered when there is snow. I would love to receive this card!
ReplyDeleteI always adore your creations, so when I saw your name on this list, I was so excited!! You didn't disapoint! Love your card!
