kitty favor boxes (Lawn Fawn inspiration week)

Hi there!

It's the last day of this month's Lawn Fawn inspiration week! I hope you've enjoyed the whole week! Today, we're showing off the Tiny Gift Box Cat Add-On:

They are so cute! I couldn't stop at just one. There are optional stripes, spots and decorative elements like a fish or a ball of yarn. And paws or no paws. I love all of the different options!

I played around with the spots, and carried them around their bodies...

I love the little dotted whiskers! I couldn't help but color in some pink cheeks with a copic marker.

hello summer! (Lawn Fawn inspiration week)

Hi there!

Welcome to Lawn Fawn's June inspiration week! We only have a few days left, but I hope you've been enjoying it so far! Today, we're showing off the Hello Border:

I did a lot of layering on this card! I did some ink blending on the card-base and on the Sunrise Backdrop, and then layered on some ocean waves in 2 different blues. Next, I brought in the palm trees and a sandy beach before adding the flamingos from Flamingo Together.

Shadow box rainbow add-on (Lawn Fawn inspiration week)

Hi there!

We're right in the middle of this month's Lawn Fawn inspiration week! Today is our showcase of the Shadow Box Card Rainbow Add-On die set.

The pastel-colored rainbow was screaming for a unicorn and tiny fairies! I stamped and colored images from A Little Sparkle, as well as the dotted flight lines from Butterfly Kisses.

I definitely overdid it with the cloud dividers, but it looks so dreamy that way.

You can see things better from on top. I sandwiched the rainbow between cloud layers, and added some stars and fairies to strips of acetate so that they appear to be floating.

I hope you like it!

Seahorsin' around (Lawn Fawn inspiration week)

Hi there!

We're a few days into this month's Lawn Fawn inspiration week! Today, we're showing off the fun little set, Seahorsin' Around. I combined it with a few other sets to create an underwater birthday scene:

I brought in images from Mermaid for youBicycle Built for YouParty Animal and Elphie Selfie! The little puffer fish is from Keep on Swimming!

It looks like a small family of seahorses! I love that when Lawn Fawn builds new sets, they always keep things consistent so we could mix and match from other sets.

The ink-blended background is my favorite. I keep it darkest at the bottom, and lightened it up as I went up. I added all of those white dots with a white gel pen.

Reveal wheel: friends and family sentiments (Lawn Fawn inspiration week)

Hi there!

Welcome back to another day of Lawn Fawn's June inspiration week. Today, we're showing off the Reveal Wheel: Friends & Family Sentiments stamp set. I created a little woodland magic:

I used images from Oh GnomeA Little SparkleForest Feast and Birthday Before ‘n Afters to create this birthday scene.

I love the tiny fairies flitting around the cake! I didn't photograph all of the sentiments, but the next segment reads MORE CAKE!

Birthday before 'n afters (Lawn Fawn inspiration week)

Hi there!

It's time for Lawn Fawn's June inspiration week! We're showing off sets and dies from the current collection all week long, so come back every day!

Today we're taking a closer look at Birthday Before 'N Afters. For those of you who love an interactive card but don't always love making them, I left the mechanics behind and just had fun coloring the images:

I used the Peekaboo Backdrop die, and created little scenes within each one. The critters from Butterfly Kisses are here for the party! I love the fox racing in with an extra candle!

The little bit of confetti help to unify all of the story-book panels. I also did some very subtle ink blending using a light blue ink to tie everything together.

That bear looks like he's had 5 slices, haha. He's just chillin' at the end of the party. I colored the slices in muted rainbow colors, for a fun surprise inside.

Pretty Pink Posh tropical blog hop!

Hi there!

Pretty Pink Posh has a new release out right now and it's all things summery and tropical. Check out the collection HERE. To celebrate, they are putting on a 2-day blog hop - starting this morning - with all kinds of invited guest designers. I'm thrilled to be one of them!

I have a couple of cards to show you, so let's get started!

Pretty Pink Posh tropical blog hop!

For my first card, I used the Beach Scene Die and the Tropical Background Stencil. I started out by ink blending the tropical background pattern onto 2 layers of white cardstock. I kept it light and subtle. I think die-cut the pieces for the beach scene and colored everything using copic markers.

I added a punchy black hello (from the Hello Friend script die) to finish things off.

My next card is for the birds (groan, I'm turning into my dad):

I used the Tropical Toucans stamp set - it's so fun! I love these adorably quirky birds! I used copic markers to color them in and layered them over a stenciled background.

I blended pink inks over the Triangles stencil and then adhered the birdies in place. I framed everything out with a Scallop Frames die.

I hope you like them! Now, onto the fun stuff:
