Lawn Fawn holiday week!

 Hi there!

It's a special kind of Lawn Fawn inspiration week! We're getting you ready for the holidays with Christmas cards and projects all week long.

Lawn Fawn holiday week!

I dressed up the office for the holidays with the help of a few mousey friends. I combined mice from Dandy Day, Crazy Antics and Love poems to make this card. The cute office images are from You're Just My Type! To add festive touches, I included holly, candy canes and gingerbread from A Creature Was Stirring and the gifts from Car Critters Christmas Add-On

25 days of Christmas tags (with Lawn Fawn)

 Hi there!

I'm thrilled to be joining Tracey McNeely's annual 25 days of Christmas tags event! Look at this amazing line up of sponsors:

Lawn Fawn is the sponsor today! I'm joining the rest of the team to show off our best Christmas tags for you!

I stamped the Santa from Ho-Ho-Holidays in Crunchy Leaf ink and colored him using Copic markers. I used the Large Wreath die set to frame the Santas, and added a little tag from the new Scalloped Circle Gift Tag die set. A little old, a little new!

To make Santa really pop, I added a piece of black cardstock, cut with the Snowy Backdrop die. I then added extra snowflakes to the background and on Santa with a white gel pen and used white paint to give the greenery a flocked look.

I hope you like them! Check out Tracey's blog this morning for more inspiration - click!

25 days of Christmas tags (with Avery Elle)

 Hi there!

I'm thrilled to be joining Tracey McNeely's annual 25 days of Christmas tags event! Look at this amazing line up of sponsors:

Avery Elle is the sponsor today, so you know I had to jump in with a few tags!

I made this set of tags using images from Winter Friends! It's a set that I illustrated for Avery Elle and I think they look so cute on these tags! The tag shape is courtesy of the Holiday Circle Tags die set, and the No Peeking sentiment is from Peek-A-Boo Tags. I can't wait to use these on some presents!

I also brought back one of my favorite sets from last year's winter release: Santa Bear.

I colored images from the set and put them onto a piece from the Holiday Ephemera pack. Nothing simpler!

I hope you like my tags for today. Check out Tracey's blog today for more inspiration: click!

Pretty poinsettias (Lawn Fawn inspiration week)

 Hi there!

Welcome to Lawn Fawn's inspiration week! Today is our showcase of the Stitched Poinsettia dies and the So Joyful Line Border:

Pretty poinsettias (Lawn Fawn inspiration week)

I started out by using a sheet of red and white plaid paper (it's older in the Lawn Fawn lineup, and we no longer carry it.) I used a maroon ink and a blender brush to darken the edges and tone down the plaid. I love that the background carries just a hint of a pattern this way. Before continuing onto next steps, I splattered white paint onto the red background.

I then cut out the poinsettia and leaves, as well as sprigs from Large Wreath and Spring Sprig. I played with the composition until I felt like it was full but not too busy, and added the line border sentiment at the bottom.

Christmas fireplace (Lawn Fawn inspiration week)

Hi there!

Welcome to Lawn Fawn's November inspiration week. We're showing off items from the current release all week long, and hoping to inspire you!

Today is our showcase of the Shadow Box Card Fireplace Add-On:

Christmas fireplace (Lawn Fawn inspiration week)

I used it on a card instead of as a shadow box, and made it look like something I would find in a home magazine. Light grey walls, some white molding above the fireplace, and a chic black facade. I hung a wreath above the fireplace and 3 bright red stockings from the mantle.
