Don't worry, be hoppy (Lawn Fawn inspiration week)

Hi there!

Welcome to another day of this month's Lawn Fawn inspiration week. We're taking a closer look at products from the current release, and today is our showcase of Don't Worry, Be Hoppy.

Don't worry, be hoppy (Lawn Fawn inspiration week)

I made a card full of little tree frogs, with the help of the branches from A Bug Deal. I colored the branches with copic markers and then used a fine-tipped brown pen to doodle little knots and accents on the branches.

I added a slew of leaves and then layered the frogs. I love their skinny legs peeking out!

The whole thing was placed on a blue-sky card-base. I used the Cloudy Stencil and some Kiddie Pool ink to create the backdrop, and then used a coordinating blue copic marker to color in the outside frame of the piece.

To finish off, I added a speech bubble and the sentiment.

Charge me up! (Lawn Fawn inspiration week)

Hi there!

Welcome to another day of this month's Lawn Fawn inspiration week. We're taking a closer look at some of the new products from the current release. Today is our showcase of Charge Me Up:

Charge me up! (Lawn Fawn inspiration week)

I started out by grabbing a sheet of purple Watercolor Wishes paper, and used a complimentary purple ink to shade the edges and give it more depth. I then placed 6 die-cut and colored robots on the card, and stamped the "illumination lines" at the top of each one of their antennas.

In the middle, I used a mix of stamped sentiment and Cole's ABCs letters to create the greeting.

Ladybug favor boxes (Lawn Fawn inspiration week)

Hi there!

Welcome to Lawn Fawn's April inspiration week post. Today is our showcase of the Tiny Gift Box Ladybug Add-On:

I opted to make them in the simplest way possible. I cut out the box, face and antenna out of black cardstock. Then, I layered on the wings and extra pieces in red. I backed the face with a small scrap of white cardstock and used a white gel pen to add some highlights to a few areas.

Sometimes, simpler is better! I can see these looking so cute for a ladybug party table!

Year 10 (Lawn Fawn inspiration week)

Hi there!

Welcome to April's Lawn Fawn inspiration week, and Happy Easter!

Today is our showcase of Year 10, the adorably on-point mini cactus set!

I couldn't help but use it to make a birthday card:

I positioned 2 party cacti within a Reverse Stitched Scalloped Circle Window die and used a white gel pen to doodle around the scallops a bit before adding the characters.

I colored the cacti, and gave one of the the floral crown (from Swan Soiree) to wear, and let them share holding up the cake (from Beam Me Up.)

I backed the layers with a piece of really rainbow striped paper for an extra bit of fun. I hope you like it!
