Scootin' by! (Lawn Fawn new release week)

 Hi there!

Welcome back to Lawn Fawn's May release week! Today is our showcase of Scootin' By:

Scootin' By! (Lawn Fawn new release week)

I used the new Slimline Road Border, and stenciled grass in between to create a ground for all 3 critters to do their scooting!

I brought in party hats and balloons, since everyone seems to be having birthdays in May and June!

Happy hugs! (Lawn Fawn new release week)

 Hi there!

Welcome to Lawn Fawn's May release week! On May 13th, 7 new stamp sets, coordinating dies, and 9 new stand-alone dies will hit the store.

Today is our showcase of Happy Hugs. It is the cutest set ever!

Happy hugs! (Lawn Fawn new release week)

I used the Peekaboo Backdrop to be able to create mini scenes on the card. There are the ones who are hugging, and the ones who are dreaming of hugs to come! To emphasize the word HUGS, I nabbed it from Long Distance Hugs - it works so well with the sentiments in Happy Hugs!

This bunny and fox image is my favorite. I can't get over how adorable they are! Be sure to check out the Lawn Fawn blog this morning for more design team inspiration - click!

Thinking of you (Lawn Fawn inspiration week)

 Hi there!

Welcome to Lawn Fawn's March inspiration week! Today is our showcase of the Thinking Of You Line Border

All we can do this year is think of our friends from far away - and sometimes it feels SO far away:

Thinking of you (Lawn Fawn inspiration week)

Like, outer-space far away! I used images from Out Of This World and placed them against a dramatic background. I first cut the cardstock using the Sunburst Backdrop, and ran it through the machine again with the Snowy Backdrop die. I used blue and yellow inks to give color to the background layers, and then did a 2-part sentiment.

Thinking of you (Lawn Fawn inspiration week)

I did an ombre effect on the Thinking Of You Line Border, and then complemented it with a sentiment from Long Distance Hugs.

I hope you like it! There's more to see on the Lawn Fawn blog this morning - click!

Butterfly Kisses Flip Flop (Lawn Fawn inspiration week)

 Hi there!

Welcome to this month's Lawn Fawn inspiration week! Today is our showcase of Butterfly Kisses Flip Flop!

Butterfly Kisses Flip Flop (Lawn Fawn inspiration week!)

I used the flip flopped fox as well as the original from Butterfly Kisses. They are rushing to bring the bunny his birthday treats! I also added the little chick from Eggstra Amazing Easter.

Elphie Selfie Flip Flop (Lawn Fawn inspiration week)

 Hi there!

Welcome to this month's Lawn Fawn inspiration week! Today, we're showing off Elphie Selfie Flip Flop. It's the easiest way to get a mirror-image of the original Elphie Selfie!

I opted to use only the new elephant on my card today, but I gave him a sweet friend:

Elphie Selfie Flip Flop (Lawn Fawn inspiration week)

I used the Sunburst Backdrop to frame the images. I sponged some pinky-purply ink over the entire frame, saturating the color near the center. I then brought in the mouse from Bubbles of Joy and cut the tiniest slit around his arm so he could cup the elephant's trunk and give him kisses.

The sentiment and other little accent images are from Butterfly Kisses.

Slimline Cloudy Stencils (Lawn Fawn inspiration week)

 Hi there!

Welcome to the March inspiration week! Today is our showcase of the Slimline Cloudy Stencils. I decided to do a night-time scene, and bring back the dinosaurs:

Slimline Cloudy Stencils (Lawn Fawn inspiration week!)

I started out with a sheet of navy blue cardstock, and used white ink and the Slimline Cloudy Stencils to create the sky. It's so dramatic! After that, I layered images from Rawrsome, Ahoy Matey, and Life is Good to create the scene.

   Hi there!

Welcome to Lawn Fawn's spring release week! On February 25th, 9 new stamp sets, 14 new die sets, 5 new stencil sets and new patterned paper and cardstock will be available for sale in the Lawn Fawn store and other online retailers.

Today, we're bringing in some sunshine! We're showing off the Stitched Sun Frame, Outside In Stitched Sun and Sunburst Backdrop:

Sunshine (Lawn Fawn spring release week!)

I cut 2 layers of the sun frame and layered them for a fuller looking sun. I added the adorable smiley face inside and framed it out with an ink-blended rainbow background.

Build-A-Basket (Lawn Fawn spring release week!)

  Hi there!

Welcome to Lawn Fawn's spring release week! On February 25th, 9 new stamp sets, 14 new die sets, 5 new stencil sets and new patterned paper and cardstock will be available for sale in the Lawn Fawn store and other online retailers.

Today, we're showing off Build-A-Basket: Easter. The pieces layer together to create the cutest easter basket, chocolate bunny included!

Build-A-Basket (Lawn Fawn spring release week!)

I cut all of the pieces out of white paper and then colored them using Copic markers. I like the softness that I can get by doing it that way.

Once I had my Easter basket arranged, I cut a layer of Sunburst Backdrop (a new essential die, in my opinion!) and did some soft blue ink blending on it. It really frames out the Easter basket so well!

Build-A-Basket (Lawn Fawn spring release week!)

I like the look of an entirely die-cut card, so I kept that going for the sentiment. I cut the Happy Easter Line Border out of a soft purple cardstock. Since the Easter basket was popped up on foam squares, I opted to die-cut the sentiment 3x and adhere the layers together.

Pop-up desk (Lawn Fawn spring release week!)

  Hi there!

Welcome to Lawn Fawn's spring release week! On February 25th, 9 new stamp sets, 14 new die sets, 5 new stencil sets and new patterned paper and cardstock will be available for sale in the Lawn Fawn store and other online retailers.

Today, we're showing off a few new products. I've combined Pop-Up Desk, Perfectly Plaid Remix papers, and Textured Dot Cardstock on my card today:

Pop-up desk (Lawn Fawn spring release week!)

I brought in images from Virtual Friends and Bubbles of Joy to decorate the outside of the card. The little mouse, who is supposed to drape over a big bubble, looks hilarious to me all sprawled out over the top of the computer. I did some ink blending around the edges of the patterned paper, to lend some drama to the focal images.

Pop-up desk (Lawn Fawn spring release week!)

I used the same paper on the inside of the card, but without the ink blending. The Pop-Up Desk was cut from Textured Dot Cardstock which is hard to see in the photo, but adds some extra fun in real life. I added a lot of shading using a range of brown Copic markers. I cut the laptop from a light grey cardstock, and popped in the waving mouse from Virtual Friends. Above, I used a sentiment from Long Distance Hugs, another new set.

Virtual Friends (Lawn Fawn spring release week!)

  Hi there!

Welcome to Lawn Fawn's spring release week! On February 25th, 9 new stamp sets, 14 new die sets, 5 new stencil sets and new patterned paper and cardstock will be available for sale in the Lawn Fawn store and other online retailers.

Today, we're showing off Virtual Friends - these friends have a strong connection!

Virtual Friends (Lawn Fawn spring release week!)

I just love this set! The little computer, with the options for who attends the zoom call? adorable. I added the little bear, from Snow Much Fun, and had him stand up on a stack of books (from Den Sweet Den) to be able to see what's going on.

I kept the background simple - just a simple wash of color - and stamped the sentiment directly onto the card base.

I hope you like it! Wait until you see the other samples, they will blow your socks off! Check them out on the Lawn Fawn blog this morning - click!

Scripty Bubble Sentiments (Lawn Fawn spring release week!)

  Hi there!

Welcome to Lawn Fawn's spring release week! On February 25th, 9 new stamp sets, 14 new die sets, 5 new stencil sets and new patterned paper and cardstock will be available for sale in the Lawn Fawn store and other online retailers.

Today we are showing off Scripty Bubble Sentiments, a set that works perfectly with Bubbles of Joy (which was shown off yesterday.)

Scripty Bubble Sentiments (Lawn Fawn spring release week!)

For something a little different, I brought in the elephant from Elphie Selfie and had him blow the bubbles!

I used the new slimline stencils to create the cloud and hillside background.

Scripty Bubble Sentiments (Lawn Fawn spring release week!)

To make the bubbles more special, I went over all of them, including the smile sentiment, with a layer of glossy accents.

Swish 'n Pop Pull Tab (Lawn Fawn spring release week!)

 Hi there!

Welcome to Lawn Fawn's spring release week! On February 25th, 9 new stamp sets, 14 new die sets, 5 new stencil sets and new patterned paper and cardstock will be available for sale in the Lawn Fawn store and other online retailers.

Today, we are taking a first look at the newest interactive die set - the Swish 'n Pop Pull Tab!

Swish and Pop Pull Tab (Lawn Fawn spring release week!)

When the tab is pushed, the design element swishes in an arc - it's really easy to put together and so fun to play with! I made the sun wave across the sky.

Swish and Pop Pull Tab (Lawn Fawn spring release week!)

I used the Smooth Sailing stamp set to make the brightest and happiest birthday card I could.

Here is a video of the die in action - so fun!

Bubbles of Joy (Lawn Fawn spring release week!)

 Hi there!

Welcome to Lawn Fawn's spring release week! On February 25th, 9 new stamp sets, 14 new die sets, 5 new stencil sets and new patterned paper and cardstock will be available for sale in the Lawn Fawn store and other online retailers.

Today, we are giving you a first look at Bubble Of Joy - the sweet little mice blowing bubbles will blow you away. hee hee.

Bubbles of Joy (Lawn Fawn spring release week!)

This card is everything soft and subtle. I used the Cloudy Stencil to create the sky, and used hillside borders for the grassy hills.

I then added the mice and all of the bubbles to flesh out the scene, and stamped the sentiments directly onto the background layers.

I hope you like it! There are the most amazing samples on the Lawn Fawn page today, the design team knocked it out! Click HERE to check them out.

conversation hearts (Lawn Fawn valentine release week)

 Hi there!

Only 1 more sleep until Lawn Fawn's Valentine release is available for purchase! What's on your list so far? Today, we're showing off a new 2-step stencil set - the Conversation Hearts Stencils.

conversation hearts (Lawn Fawn valentine release week)

I did a tone-on-tone pink background with the hearts layer, blending the hearts just a touch darker than the paper already was. Then, I added a hotter pink for the lettering. I splattered white paint over that layer, just to break up all of the pink and add some extra interest.

I cut into the layer with a larger stitched heart, and popped a bear from Den Sweet Den into the opening. I gave him a letter to hold and added a sentiment to ground him.

I hope you like it! The stencil set was so much fun to play with. There's more to see on the LF blog this morning - click!

more hearts! (Lawn Fawn valentine release week)

 Hi there!

Welcome to another day of Lawn Fawn's Valentine release week! Everything we're showing off will be available for purchase as of December 10th - 2 more sleeps!

Today, I have 2 projects to show you. The first one is a die set, the Center Window Picture Card Heart Add-On. I used it on a bag instead of a card for something different:

more hearts! (Lawn Fawn valentine release week)

I cut the heart into the front of the Goodie Bag, backed it with acetate, and added the little birdies on their branches back in. I had debated leaving them all white, it was looking like something fit for a wedding favor! but in the end I thought a bit of soft color would make it pop more for the photo.

My next card features an axolotl, of all creatures. Luckily, Maia just did a whole power point presentation last year for school, so we found this stamp set and it's greeting - I like you (a lotl) - hilarious!

more hearts! (Lawn Fawn valentine release week)

I used a Foursquare panel die to house different scenes, all pointing to the star in front! To reinforce this, I added shading to the base layer too, keeping it darker around the edges and brighter towards the middle. It makes the axolotl look a bit like he's glowing! I used Finley's ABCs to create part of the fun greeting.

I hope you like what I created for you today! There's more to see on the LF blog this morning - click!

Slimline love (Lawn Fawn valentine release week)

I layered cream and white stitched rectangles, onto a scalloped base of light blue. I wanted those red hearts to really pop! I removed the red letters and slotted white ones in instead. The postman owl from Special Delivery comes bearing happy mail!

Magic Iris Birdhouse (Lawn Fawn Valentine release week)

 Hi there!

Welcome to Lawn Fawn's Valentine release week! We're teasing the new products all week long, ahead of the December 10th release.

Today, we're showing you the Magic Iris Birdhouse Add-On. I think the die set is so lovely even without the original Magic Iris interactive dies:

Magic Iris Birdhouse (Lawn Fawn Valentine release week)

I cut all of the pieces out of white cardstock, and used Copic markers to add color to everything. I also used the Woodgrain Backdrop die to add texture to the main body of the birdhouse. I did some heavy shading on the inside of the birdhouse to show depth and to make the bird really pop in the front.

Special delivery (new Lawn Fawn release!)

I thought it would be fun to use all of the accessories on other critters. I grabbed the recently promoted Germ-Free Bear, and another from Snow Much Fun, and outfitted them to be delivering all the love mail.

Special delivery (new Lawn Fawn release!)

I set them all against a Stripey Backdrop and grounded them with a thick sentiment banner.

 Hi there!

It's a special kind of Lawn Fawn inspiration week! We're getting you ready for the holidays with Christmas cards and projects all week long.

Lawn Fawn holiday week!

I dressed up the office for the holidays with the help of a few mousey friends. I combined mice from Dandy Day, Crazy Antics and Love poems to make this card. The cute office images are from You're Just My Type! To add festive touches, I included holly, candy canes and gingerbread from A Creature Was Stirring and the gifts from Car Critters Christmas Add-On

25 days of Christmas tags (with Lawn Fawn)

 Hi there!

I'm thrilled to be joining Tracey McNeely's annual 25 days of Christmas tags event! Look at this amazing line up of sponsors:

Lawn Fawn is the sponsor today! I'm joining the rest of the team to show off our best Christmas tags for you!

25 days of Christmas tags (with Lawn Fawn)

I stamped the Santa from Ho-Ho-Holidays in Crunchy Leaf ink and colored him using Copic markers. I used the Large Wreath die set to frame the Santas, and added a little tag from the new Scalloped Circle Gift Tag die set. A little old, a little new!

25 days of Christmas tags (with Lawn Fawn)

To make Santa really pop, I added a piece of black cardstock, cut with the Snowy Backdrop die. I then added extra snowflakes to the background and on Santa with a white gel pen and used white paint to give the greenery a flocked look.

I hope you like them! Check out Tracey's blog this morning for more inspiration - click!
