Butterfly Kisses Flip Flop (Lawn Fawn inspiration week)

I used the flip flopped fox as well as the original from Butterfly Kisses. They are rushing to bring the bunny his birthday treats! I also added the little chick from Eggstra Amazing Easter.

Elphie Selfie Flip Flop (Lawn Fawn inspiration week)

Welcome to this month's Lawn Fawn inspiration week! Today, we're showing off Elphie Selfie Flip Flop. It's the easiest way to get a mirror-image of the original Elphie Selfie!

I opted to use only the new elephant on my card today, but I gave him a sweet friend:

I used the Sunburst Backdrop to frame the images. I sponged some pinky-purply ink over the entire frame, saturating the color near the center. I then brought in the mouse from Bubbles of Joy and cut the tiniest slit around his arm so he could cup the elephant's trunk and give him kisses.

The sentiment and other little accent images are from Butterfly Kisses.

dandy day! (Lawn Fawn inspiration week)

Welcome to another day of Lawn Fawn's March inspiration week! We're taking a look at products from the newest release and hoping we inspire you to craft at home.

Are your kids home from school with all of the Covid-19 madness? Will you do any extra crafting? I have some projects lined up for the week, and I'm hoping I can convince a kid or 2 to join me!

Today is our showcase of the Dandy Day paper collection. I used the subtle yellow sheet on this card:

If you've been following my creations for the week, you can tell I make a bulk of my cards on the same day. I still had Butterfly Kisses on my table, and thought it would be cute to combine the fox with his outstretched arms and the dandelion flowers from Dandy Day. I used scissors to cut a slit between his paws, so that I could slide the flower in there.



The Reverse Stitched Scalloped Circle Window frames the focal images, and I used a sentiment banner to ground everything. Behind the buttery yellow paper, I opted for a light blue sky, and used a white gel pen to add a bokeh effect.

happy birthday! (Lawn Fawn inspiration week)

Welcome to Lawn Fawn's March inspiration week! The design team is showing off different products from the newest release all week long, and we're hoping we inspire you!

Today is our showcase of Offset Sayings: Birthday:

My card for today is very simple, but I hope you'll think it's still fun! I grabbed a piece of the banner patterned paper (from the Hello Sunshine Remix pad) and layered the images on top of it. The images are from Butterfly Kisses, Birthday Before 'n Afters, and Eggstra Amazing Easter.



I colored all of the images using copic markers and then stamped the greeting directly underneath them. I colored the hollow letters using copic markers that matched the ribbon on the presents.

my lucky star (Lawn Fawn inspiration week)

Welcome to Lawn Fawn's March inspiration week! Today is our showcase of Super Star:

I decided to reach for a few different critters for this card - from Butterfly Kisses and Eggstra Amazing Easter - the mice have been getting all the love lately and I missed these guys!

For the background, I used Lawn Fawn inks to create a night sky - I mixed Black Licorice, Deep See, and Juice Box for the sky. I then grabbed the Grassy Hillside Stencils  for the ground. I really love how it turned out! I only wish my hand was steadier when I was holding down the stencils - my top layer of grass looks a little blurry.



But I am pretty proud of that sky! I flecked on some white paint (while using the stencil mask to protect the grassy hills) and added a moon and stars to the sky. The sweet sentiment was stamped in black ink at the bottom to finish off this card.

Have a dandy day! (Lawn Fawn inspiration week)

Welcome to day 1 of this month's Lawn Fawn inspiration week. All of the products shown this week (and, the rest of the spring release!) will be available for purchase as of February 20th. We're almost there!

Today, we're showing off Dandy Day:



I love this set for scene-building! I wanted a pop of color and to introduce an element of symmetry, so I brought in the mushrooms from Forest Feast and popped a mouse onto each one. The one mouse is blowing dandelion pods to the other one, who is ready to catch them! The net is from Butterfly Kisses.

I couldn't help but use a sheet of Dandy Day paper for the sky!

Shadow box rainbow add-on (Lawn Fawn inspiration week)

Hi there!

We're right in the middle of this month's Lawn Fawn inspiration week! Today is our showcase of the Shadow Box Card Rainbow Add-On die set.



The pastel-colored rainbow was screaming for a unicorn and tiny fairies! I stamped and colored images from A Little Sparkle, as well as the dotted flight lines from Butterfly Kisses.



I definitely overdid it with the cloud dividers, but it looks so dreamy that way.



You can see things better from on top. I sandwiched the rainbow between cloud layers, and added some stars and fairies to strips of acetate so that they appear to be floating.

Birthday before 'n afters (Lawn Fawn inspiration week)

It's time for Lawn Fawn's June inspiration week! We're showing off sets and dies from the current collection all week long, so come back every day!

Today we're taking a closer look at Birthday Before 'N Afters. For those of you who love an interactive card but don't always love making them, I left the mechanics behind and just had fun coloring the images:



I used the Peekaboo Backdrop die, and created little scenes within each one. The critters from Butterfly Kisses are here for the party! I love the fox racing in with an extra candle!

The little bit of confetti help to unify all of the story-book panels. I also did some very subtle ink blending using a light blue ink to tie everything together.

That bear looks like he's had 5 slices, haha. He's just chillin' at the end of the party. I colored the slices in muted rainbow colors, for a fun surprise inside.

Layered butterflies (Lawn Fawn inspiration week)

Welcome to Lawn Fawn's April inspiration week! We're taking a closer look at some of the spring collection, and hoping you'll be inspired to get creative yourself!

Today is our showcase of the Layered Butterflies dies. I snipped one in half for a different look:

I cut a piece of white cardstock with a wavy Stitched Hillside Border die, and then cut into it again with a larger butterfly die. I then backed the negative space with a speckled pink paper, to set it apart from the scalloped pink paper to the right.

I borrowed a sentiment from Butterfly Kisses, and added a heat-embossed butterfly trail as well.

mother's day (Lawn Fawn inspiration week)

Welcome to Lawn Fawn's April inspiration week. Today is our showcase of the Mother's Day Line Border die.



I create a scene of a mommy with her little ducklings, and got the line border to follow the same curve as the grassy hills.



The ducks are from Rub-A-Dub-Dub, the clouds, butterfly and flowers are from Butterfly Kisses. I love mixing a little old and new together!

Spring shadow box (Lawn Fawn inspiration week)

Welcome to Lawn Fawn's March inspiration week! I was nursing a migraine yesterday, but my dino magic picture changer card was featured on the LF blog. Click *HERE* to see the card in full, but here's a teaser of what I should have posted for that post:



Now, onto today's project! We're showing off add-on dies to the previously released Shadow Box Card die set.



I loved making these little shadow boxes! They are EASY, and so cute. I used the Park Add-On dies for the aperture and the trees. I flipped the little half-circle upside down, because I wanted the soft, curved opening.



I did a double-row of trees, so it looks all forest-y in there, and cut out 3 different colors of Spiffy Speckles paper: the pink ground on the outside of the box, the leafy tree tops, and the blue speckled sky for the back.

The stamped critters are from a few sets: Eggtra Amazing Easter, Rub A Dub Dub, and Butterfly Kisses.

And speaking of butterflies, you only see the pair of them when you peer in from the top. It's a fun little surprise.

Eggstra eggciting (Lawn Fawn inspiration week)

Welcome to Lawn Fawn's February inspiration week! Today, we're showing off the Reveal Wheel Spring sentiments:



I used images from Butterfly Kisses and Eggstra Amazing Easter to create my scene.

I love how all of the new patterned papers look together!



I cut a tiny slit between the fox's paws so that he could properly hold his easter egg. I love his pose - it really looks like he's racing to fill that basket!

Butterfly kisses (Lawn Fawn inspiration week)

Welcome to Lawn Fawn's February inspiration week! Their entire spring collection will be available for purchase as of February 21st, and in the meantime, we are taking a closer look at some of the new products.

Today, we're showing off my favorite set of the entire new collection, Butterfly Kisses. I love the little critters in this set!

I created a storybook-type scene, and used nesting oval dies to frame it all out. The butterflies are flitting about, and the little fox is chasing them while his friends look on.



I love all of the white space - it still looks clean and simple, but the scene is detailed enough to be interesting.

Magic picture changer (Lawn Fawn inspiration week)

Hi there!

Welcome back to this month's Lawn Fawn inspiration week! Today, we're showing off a brand new die called the Magic Picture Changer. It is so cool! With this set of dies, you can create a picture that "magically" changes when you pull the tab.



For my card, I used the bear from Butterfly Kisses, and a few little chicks from Eggstra Amazing Easter to create a serene spring scene.

The sentiment is the only thing that sticks out... but when you pull the tab, it all makes sense:



ha! I think I'm pretty funny for coming up with this one! With a pull of the tab, the bear is a comedian, wearing the joke glasses from Dad + Me.
