nesting hexagons (Neat and Tangled release week)

Hi there!

We're onto day 3 of this month's Neat and Tangled release week. I hope you like what you've seen so far!  Today, we're showing off the Nesting Hexagons cover plate die and stencil collection. I used the die to make this rich red background:

I left all of the pieces in but used a red copic marker to color in some of the hex pattern so that it had some variation and extra interest. Isn't it so Valentine-perfect? I then flicked white ink all over that layer before adding that chubby beaver (from Beavers Eh.)

He chewed up a little heart for you, hee hee. I love him peeking around the corner.

I heat-embossed the sentiment onto a black banner die-cut so that it would stand out.

I hope you like it! There's more to see on the NT blog this morning - click!
