Hi there!
my nephew turned 5 and loves cars so this party was a no-brainer! I used images from Car Critters as my starting-off point, coloring the cars in a kid-friendly-bright-red. I made a kind of racing car checkered backdrop for the party, simply by cutting black and white cardstock into 8x8 squares. It really pulls everything together!
The very simple banner is still impactful because of the white letters on black cardstock. I think the longest part was finding the alphabet dies! gah! do you ever do this? I think I emptied out all of my binders and baggies looking for them. Note to self: figure out a better system for die storage.
I think these gable boxes are my favorite part! I stenciled a cloudy sky and placed the car on the road *the road is facing the wrong way, but who cares*
I love me a good pun. I used a combo of stamped and die-cut letters to make this little sign. The stoplight treats were the biggest hit of the entire party table! I used ready-made rice krispies treat squares, and pressed in red, yellow and green skittles. Nothing to it! The confetti I used in the mason jars is what comes in our Lawn Fawn boxes!
I hope you liked this month's party! Thanks for stopping by!

Your nephew is so lucky. You have done a great job on organising a party, love all the projects. Stoplight treats were my favourites too.
