25 days of Christmas tags (with Lawn Fawn)

Hi there!

I'm thrilled to be taking part in Tracey Mcneely's 25 days of Christmas tags event. I showed off some Neat and Tangled tags yesterday (click!) and today I'm back with Lawn Fawn ones.

I just love making tags out of the snowglobe image from Ready, Set, Snow. 

The little Frosty Fairy Friends are working hard to get you everything on that list!

I colored the snowglobe base in a light grey, popped some bright aqua "snow" behind the fairies and colored the rest with pops of Christmas red.



The little tag at the top is from the Sprinkled With Joy die set.

fairies in the snow (lawn fawn inspiration week)

Hi there!

Lawn Fawn's October inspiration is in full swing, and today the team is showing off Merry Messages.

The only thing - my card doesn't use Merry Messages at all. I blanked and scheduled this card for the wrong day, but Kelly was sweet enough to slide it into the post anyways. ha!

I used Winter Big Scripty Words and the adorable Frosty Fairy Friends to create this scene:



I love this aqua/red/white combo for Christmas! The 2 fairies are perched on mushrooms and holding up the big Noel, which is so perfect if you need Christmas cards with french greetings like I do! Half of our teachers are french-speaking, so this will come in very handy for me.

Frosty Fairy Friends (lawn fawn inspiration week)

Hi there!

Lawn Fawn's September inspiration week kicks off with a closer look at these lovely snow fairies:



Frosty Fairy Friends is an adorable set, perfect for building scenes like this one!  I colored all of the fairies in red and white, gave the sled and fairy house a good, rich brown and kept everything else light and bright.



To add extra interest, I went in and added glossy accents to the string of Christmas lights and the fairy wings. It's a small detail, but it really catches the lights and makes the scene more magical!
