wood you be mine?
Only a few more weeks until Valentine's day, and my friend Jenn Shurkus has organized an amazing blog hop: every day leading up to February 14th, a new blogger will be sharing the L-O-V-E and offering you ideas for V-day. Jenn will be offering up prizes, randomly chosen from the comments left on all of the blogs. The blogger of the day will be featured on Jenn's blog, so be sure to check back with her daily!
I've created another cookie packaging, using this amazing cookie that Marlyn brought me:
Isn't it beautiful? She will have a video tutorial up in a few days, for those of you who'd like to see how to recreate this cookie. I'll come back and link it up.
I wanted to make it look like a heart carved out of a tree. I stamped the background with lawn fawn's "woodgrain backdrops" and die-cut the arrow from their soon-to-be-released "wish you were here" lawn cuts. I die cut a few arrows to make it look longer, and also give it a pink tip and double-row of feathers.
I don't have a big tutorial for you, but I hope the side view gives you an idea of how I created the packaging. I took one length of cardstock and folded it to create the basic pocket, and then fitted the inside with a stand for the cookie to rest in.
I hope you like my project for today! Thanks for stopping by.
♥.
