It was like an inky fairytale when I opened a box of goodies from the generous folks at Imagine Crafts.
How did they know my Memento Tuxedo black ink was running dry? hee.
I have 2 cards to show you today:
I drew my own cake stand for the sweet christmas gingerbread house. I was pinterest-ing gingerbread ideas, and I guess I had cakes and parties on the brain.
I used memento black ink to be able to color with my copic markers, and used some of their sparkle shimmer mist to add sparkle to the house. I curved the sentiment to arc around the top of the house.
On the card base, I stamped a cozy background using their memento luxe inks in love letter and nothern pine. Those inks are the juiciest I have ever used! Great for creating a rich background.
I still had argyle backdrops out on my craft table, and I really wanted to try out their delicata gold ink. It's beautiful. I know it reads more yellow here, but it's a shimmery gold, perfect for the holidays. Once I stamped the argyle, I grabbed a little dot image from another lawn fawn set and stamped it in the same northern pine ink in a grid pattern. It all looks a little "nutcracker" to me... does that even make sense?
I hope you like what I've created! Hop over to the lawn fawn blog to see more - click!

Both of your cards are absolutely lovely! LOVE how you used the argyle background stamp. Your second card totally reminded me that I need to use my delicata gold ink, still haven't used it!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous cards! I wish I could stamp like you, my argyle would look totally wonky!
