Swan soiree (Lawn Fawn inspiration week)

Hi there!

Welcome to our March Lawn Fawn inspiration week! Today is our showcase of Swan Soiree, a set that features the most adorable swans and their babies. I'm a sucker for any set that gives me mirror-imaged critters.

I had so much fun making this card! I layered 3 different colors of blue cardstock to be able to create 3 different little swan vignettes. Once I determined where the stamped images would sit, I used the Ocean Waves Accents dies to fill in some of the blank areas. I then used a white gel pen to emphasize those squiggly water lines.

Aloha! (Lawn Fawn inspiration week)

Hi there!

Welcome back to another day of this month's Lawn Fawn inspiration week. Today, we're showing off the Scripty Aloha die - perfect for breezy summer cards.

I sponged the same ink color onto the Scripty Aloha die-cut and the Stripey Backdrop.

I backed the Aloha sentiment with a strip of sandy beach, and used palm trees to flank either side of my ocean scene.



I sponged a yellow sunny sky and then used the Ocean Hillside Pop-up dies and the Ocean Wave Accents to create an ocean home for the shark from Duh-nuh.

Duh nuh (Lawn Fawn inspiration week)

Hi there!

We're showing off the cute little set, Duh-nuh, today which I paired with Ocean Wave Accents and Ocean Hillside Pop-up Add On dies to create an underwater scene.



I did a partial die-cut of the ocean wave so that I could have one really tall panel for the little wave accents.

The panels were colored with distress inks. I sponged a darker blue, and even some Black Soot ink to the lowest panel, and worked up to the lightest blue (Tumbled Glass) at the top. I then flicked a bit of water onto all three panels to give some extra interest.
