dandy day! (Lawn Fawn inspiration week)

Hi there!

Welcome to another day of Lawn Fawn's March inspiration week! We're taking a look at products from the newest release and hoping we inspire you to craft at home.

Are your kids home from school with all of the Covid-19 madness? Will you do any extra crafting? I have some projects lined up for the week, and I'm hoping I can convince a kid or 2 to join me!

Today is our showcase of the Dandy Day paper collection. I used the subtle yellow sheet on this card:

If you've been following my creations for the week, you can tell I make a bulk of my cards on the same day. I still had Butterfly Kisses on my table, and thought it would be cute to combine the fox with his outstretched arms and the dandelion flowers from Dandy Day. I used scissors to cut a slit between his paws, so that I could slide the flower in there.

The Reverse Stitched Scalloped Circle Window frames the focal images, and I used a sentiment banner to ground everything. Behind the buttery yellow paper, I opted for a light blue sky, and used a white gel pen to add a bokeh effect.

I love you(calyptus) - Lawn Fawn valentine release week

Hi there!

Welcome to day 2 of Lawn Fawn's valentine release week. Today, we're showing off a mini stamp set, I Love You(calyptus):

I colored the koala and bunch of sprigs. I die-cut the Reverse Stitched Scalloped Circle Window and nestled the koala into the opening, layering the bamboo shoots all around. I then heat-embossed the sentiment onto black cardstock and used that to ground the images.

Underneath the sentiment flag, I used a brand new product you'll see later on this week - the Polka Heart Backdrop.

Outside looking in (Lawn Fawn inspiration week)

Hi there!

Welcome back to another day of Lawn Fawn inspiration! Today, we're showing off the Reverse Stitched Scalloped Circle Window frames. I'm re-sharing a card I'd creating way back for sneak peek week a few months ago:

I really love the detail of these dies - the stitched circle and the soft scalloped inside is so pretty. I created a simple scene using the bears from Winter Skies. They are cuddled under the same scarf and looking up at Santa, across a night sky.

It's a sweet, simple card that could easily be replicated for your holiday cards!

I hope you like it, and be sure to check out the LF blog this morning for even more inspiration - click!

Looking up at starry skies (Lawn Fawn sneak peek week)

Hi there!

Lawn Fawn is showing off their new Fall/Winter collection all week long! Everything shown this week will be for sale at the end of August.

Today, I'm showing off new Woodgrain cardstock, and the Reverse Stitched Scalloped Circle Windows (as well as a pair of adorable bears you'll be later in the week!)

For this card, I colored the bears from Winter Skies and used the scalloped circle window die to create an opening for the night sky. I love them wrapped in the same scarf, looking up at Santa and his reindeer!

I added a tree for a fun pop of color, and set the images onto a sentiment banner flag. I hope you like it!
