the dog house (Lawn Fawn inspiration week)

Lawn Fawn's June inspiration week is winding down, with only a few days left to enjoy. Today, we're showing off the Scalloped Treat Box Dog House Add-On. I love Lawn Fawn's Scalloped Treat Box! It's so versatile, and the fact that you can turn it into an adorable dog house with the add-on dies is so much fun.



Wouldn't this box make the cutest favor for a dog-themed birthday party? I cut the treat box out of white cardstock, and then cut extra strips for the front. I used a tiny hole puncher to punch little "nail heads" so it could look like barnwood that was nailed down. Behind the holes, I colored the main box with a grey copic marker so that it could look like silver nail heads.

Then, I cut out the pieces that came with the die: a red roof and doggy bowl, the big bone tag and smaller bone treat, as well as the dog and tennis ball.

I stamped a sentiment from Happy Howloween onto the big tag and attached it with a red and white twine.



I wanted to make it look like the puppy was peeking out from inside the dog house, so I chopped a little and stuck him onto the black doorway. I used a brown marker to darken his ears and color around his one eye. Just those little touches take a flat die-cut from boring to super cute.

RAWR (Lawn Fawn valentine release)

Hi there!

Lawn Fawn's valentine release week continues with a closer look at RAWR, an adorable mini dino-themed set.

I knew most of the girls would use him for valentine's day cards, so I put together a birthday treat box instead:



I doodled my dino a tummy, and little spots on his back, and then added a party hat and balloons before adhering everything to the front of a Scalloped Treat Box.



I think it would be adorable to see a whole bunch of these at a little boy's birthday party!

Scalloped holiday treat box (Lawn Fawn inspiration week)

Hi there!

It's the last day of this month's Lawn Fawn inspiration week, and today I'm featuring the Scalloped Treat Box Winter House Add-On. Whew, that's a mouthful!



I love simplicity in my Christmas decor, so I decorated this box in colors that would fit my holiday look.

I cut the treat box out of the lighter woodgrain pattern paper, and adorned it with mostly white elements and a few pops of red.



The red bows add the perfect little punch to the front of the house! I also added 2 layers of the roof die-cut, which I think adds a touch of softness.

I added a little white chimney and a puff of "love" smoke rising from it. Having the chimney there allowed me to bring some height to the box, which I think makes it look even cuter.

I hope you like it! The box came together very easily and quickly but makes a huge impact. I can't wait to make a few more and hide little treats and gift cards in there for the kids' teachers.

scalloped treat boxes (lawn fawn inspiration week)

Hi there!  Lawn Fawn inspiration week continues with a look at my favorite gift packaging die yet, the Scalloped Treat Box.

It's itty-bitty, and just perfect:



I dressed up the box with a strip of plaid paper from the Perfectly Plaid Fall collection. I ran my strip through the die-cutter so that it would have the same stitched edge at the top. It's a fun way to dress up your boxes if you don't want to use up too much of your patterned paper.

The boxes feature either the fox or the owl from Jump For Joy, and a trio of stitched leaves hanging by some plain twine.
