Oh what fun! (Lawn Fawn inspiration week)

Hi there!

Welcome to day 1 of this month's Lawn Fawn inspiration week! Today, we're showing off the BEARY cute Oh What Fun stamp set and matching dies.

I did some ink blending with different distress inks (faded jeans, tumbled glass and black soot) to create the rich blue background.

The Santa-bear was placed high in that sky, over the little Winter Village houses. I set the houses onto layers of the Stitched Hillside backdrop, and added a forest border behind to fill in the scenery. I love how Lawn Fawn creates these products to work together!

Doesn't he look a little like Winnie the Pooh? ugh, so cute.

Stamptember! Lawn Fawn exclusive set

Hi there!

We are celebrating Stamptember with Simon Says Stamp! This year's exclusive set by Lawn Fawn, Nutty Or Nice, is so cute:

I did a blue and red combo for this Christmas card:

I used a sheet of Really Rainbow Christmas Blue Snowfall for the sky, and set it against a Stitched Hillside Backdrop.

I added snowy touches to the branch using the Embossing Ink Pen and Textured White Embossing Powder.

And that snowman? So nice I had to use him twice! Seriously, isn't he so cute? I opted to stamp a tiny nose on the snowmen - there's a little image of squirrel footprints included in the set, I inked one of those tiny ovals and used it to stamp noses.

I hope you like it! Be sure to snatch up your set over at SSS before it sells out for good - click!

Winter Village (Lawn Fawn inspiration week)

hi there!

It's Lawn Fawn inspiration week, and today we're showing off the super sweet Winter Village set.

Winter Village (Lawn Fawn inspiration week)

I love this card! You know when you have an idea in your head and it works out perfectly and comes together so easily? Yeah, this one.

I cut a layer of Snowy Backdrop out of black cardstock and layed it onto the white card-base.

Then, I used the new Stitched Hillside Backdrop: Portrait to cut the rolling hills for the houses to sit on. I cut it out two times, and layered the full backdrop die-cut over one where I cut off the frame above the hills.

Then, I stamped and colored a whole slew of houses. I wanted the card to have more of a graphic feel, so I colored them all the same: red roofs, yellow windows, beige doors and just a touch of shading.

The trees were highlighted with the help of a snow marker, and I added some chunky glitter to the hillsides
