Little pumpkin party (for Lawn Fawn)

Hi there!

I love the coziness of fall decorating. I thought, for this month's Lawn Fawn party post, to create a little fall baby shower to inspire you:

Little pumpkin party (for Lawn Fawn)

I combined pumpkins from Happy Harvest with the little onesie from Little Bundle to stage this pumpkin-themed baby shower.

I kept the color scheme neutral, with just a few brighter touches of orange. I love that it's not too overpoweringly ORANGE.

I used bright straws to compliment the color of the pumpkin, but layered it onto a more neutral mat (from Perfectly Plaid Winter.) The tag shape is from the Small Stitched Envelope die set. I'll definitely be using this label on more party decor in the future. It's the perfect size and shape!

In case the party theme wasn't completely obvious on its own, I created a little framed art-piece for the table. I used Milo's ABCs, together with sentiment pieces from Little Bundle to make it.

I purchased these little striped baking cups and embellished them with the onesie and tiny pumpkin images. Any chance you get to reinforce your party theme will make the entire table come together!

I hope you like it!

Just to add, when putting everything together, I used wonderful products sent to me by Scrapbook Adhesives. I especially love their tape runners. No more messy, gluey fingers for me!

Perfectly plaid halloween (Lawn Fawn inspiration week)

Hi there!

Lawn Fawn's August inspiration week continues, with all new products becoming available in just 3 more days!

Today, we're showing off the plaid papers for fall - they are so cozy and warm looking!

I made a little card and favor box combo for Halloween using some favorite older sets, and combined them with a new plaid paper. The colors I used for the images are all found in the plaid, which makes everything come together.

Supplies:

Pumpkin wagon (from Happy Harvest)
Ghosts and sentiment (from Spooktacular)
Green frame (from the retired set, Sweater Weather)
Starry background die (actually Snowy Backdrop)

many thanks {lawn fawn}

Hi there! It's another day of Lawn Fawn's August inspiration week! Today, we're showing off new papers - the Polka in the Dark collection.

I combined a polka paper with images from Happy Harvest, to create a card with a fall color palette.

That scarecrow is too cute for words. I created a little scene, adding scarecrows around him and a few pumpkin accents. I then framed everything out using stitched square dies, and popped it onto an orange and white polka dot base.

ghouls night out {lawn fawn}

Hi there! On Monday, Lawn Fawn unveiled the new set, Booyah, as part of their Fall/Winter release.

I paired the ghost from Booyah with the pumpkin-in-a-wagon from the also upcoming Happy Harvest. I dressed up the pumpkin with some fun accessories. I love all of the dress-up images found in Booyah! I can't wait to add them onto critters from other sets too!

Once the images were stamped out and colored, I did some night-sky-ink-blending, and added the stars to complete the look of a halloween night.

I hope you like it!

happy harvest sneak peek {lawn fawn}

hi there!

Lawn Fawn is doing a full unveiling of their fall/winter collection this week, and I have a few cards to share over the next few days.

I made a card using the new set, Happy Harvest, which features the most adorable scarecrow you've ever seen!

I stamped the image with a light distress ink, and colored him in with copic markers. Once he was colored, I masked him to be able to stamp the husks in the background. I used oval dies to cut out the focal point and made a yellow gingham background to complete the card.

I hope you like it! Visit the Lawn Fawn blog for all of today's sneak peeks!
