santa tags (Lawn Fawn inspiration week)

 Hi there!

Welcome to Lawn Fawn's October inspiration week! We're showing off products from the current release all week long, hoping to inspire you to use them in new ways.

Today is our showcase of the Scalloped Circle Gift Tag:

I really love how these turned out! I used dies from the Shadow Box Card Fireplace Add On to make these santa-legs-gift-tags.

I cut all of the pieces out of white cardstock and colored them using copic markers. I adhered everything onto a kraft scalloped circle base and use red and white twine to finish things off.

The sentiments are from Snow Globe Scenes.

Magic Iris Snow Globe (Lawn Fawn inspiration week)

 Hi there!

Welcome to Lawn Fawn's October inspiration week! We're taking a closer look at items from the new release all week long, and hoping to inspire you to use them in new ways.

Today is our showcase of the Magic Iris Snow Globe Add-On dies:

I did some ink blending on the globe, so that it looks like someone picked up the snow globe and gave it a shake. When you pull the lever, the magic iris opens to reveal the scene inside:

I used the same image from Snow Globe Scenes as I did on yesterday's card. because it is the absolute sweetest. I added trees from various Lawn Fawn sets - inside the snow globe and on the outside as well.

I hope you like my card! There's more to see on the LF blog this morning - click!

Snow globe scenes (Lawn Fawn inspiration week)

 Hi there!

Welcome to more of this month's Lawn Fawn inspiration week! Today is our showcase of Snow Globe Scenes:

Snow globe scenes (Lawn Fawn inspiration week)

I couldn't help but bring in the little bear from Den Sweet Den, and set him in front of the cozy cabin in the woods. If you look closely, you'll see that I just colored the top of the snowman's head to look like a snowy bush. He's mostly hidden by the bear's body.

I gave the snowy scene a pop of red in the cabin, and echoed that with the strip of red-and-white-striped paper, as well as the presents at the bottom of the card (from Car Critters Christmas Add On.) I just feel like it brought the whole card together!

The snow globe was set against a kraft cardstock backdrop, which was stenciled with the Snowflake Trio stencil. Despite the large size of the snowflakes, it ends up being a pretty, subtle background for the card, with just enough to keep things interesting.
