Peek-A-Boo Pals (Avery Elle)

Hi there!

I have a fun little card to share, using a set from Avery Elle's newest release, Peek-A-Boo Pals:

Peek-A-Boo Pals (Avery Elle)

I stamped and die-cut a trio of critters and their matching paws. Aren't they just the cutest? I colored them with copic markers, keeping the tones very light. For the hippo, I used C00, C01 and C3 to color the main body. For the bunny, I used W00, W1 and W3, and for the monkey I used E30, E31 and E34.

I then used the Oval Burst die to frame them out and set them onto a blue background.

I stamped the greeting on sentiment flags from the Wonky Stitches die set, and made them appear to be wrapping around the frame.

The entire scene was set onto a piece of soft violet paper and adhered to a card base. I added a few wooden stars as a finishing touch.

I hope you like what I've created! Thanks for stopping by!

Wedding season begins!

Hi there!

I have so many birthday cards in my box, ready to send out. Thank you cards too, and so many other just because cards, but I found that I was missing some cards I could give out for summer weddings!

This card was created with supplies from the Ellen Hutson store:

wedding season begins!

I started out by stamping the large flower cluster from Mondo Sakura 2 times, and colored them using copic markers.

With one of the stems, I cut it to fit the 4 corners of my Wonky Stitches rectangle die. For the other one, I cut into it with the Classic Block Alpha letters to spell the word L-O-V-E. I also cut out the same 4 letters using an olive green cardstock that would match the green of the floral stems.

I hope you like it! Thanks for stopping by.

Wood you be mine? (Avery Elle)

Hi there!

I just love this beaver image from Avery Elle. The set is called "Wood You?" and it is just the sweetest:

I first stamped the background with the largest image from Brushed, to give the horizontal lines. Then, I stamped and colored the beaver and his log and placed the sentiment into the banner flag from the Wonky Stitches die set.

The images are big enough to stand alone, and make for an easy-to-put-together card!
