Hi there!
Welcome to the Pinkfresh Studio February Stamp & Die Release blog hop! To celebrate there is a fun blog hop to inspire you and introduce you to some of the latest designs.
To make the hop even more fun Pinkfresh is hosting an amazing giveaway. One lucky winner will receive the entire February stamp & die release. To enter to win, please follow along with our blog hop and leave a comment on EACH post along the way! Comments will close at 11.59pm CST on February 8th, 2018.
The winner will be randomly selected and announced on the Pinkfresh blog on February 10th, 2018.
I have 2 cards to show off today. The first one uses the new Enjoy The Journey stamp set and dies:
Isn't it so sweet? I colored and die-cut the main tea-cup image, the balloons, and a trio of clouds (the clouds are my fave!) To make them stand out, I used a circle die to create a cut-out and sponged a cloudy background for the images.
The kite tail provided the perfect place to hang the sentiment banner.
Here's a closer look at the sweet girl and bunny!
My next card uses 2 new stamp sets: Word Series: Believe, and the Lined Floral Background.
I stamped the background (isn't it a beauty?) and did some loose copic coloring using 5 copic markers: R20, R22, R24 and R29. I used R39 only for the darkest spots.
I didn't got out of my way to blend everything too much, I liked the look of some harder lines and shadows.
With it's leafy, swirly accent, the sentiment was a perfect fit. For added drama, I white-heat-embossed the sentiment onto black cardstock, and did the same with the supporting greeting. I then fit them together onto the card-front.
I hope you like my cards!
It's time to hop on over to see what the rest of the design team has crafted for you. Here is a list of blog hop participants:

ReplyDeleteOh wow, I thought you had watercolored that second card. You really made those copics do something I didn't think they could do! And that first stamp set is pure whimsy. I have cute stamp sets and I have florals, but I don't think I have any whimsy stamp sets. I might need to change that, because I think my nieces need a card with them and a bunny sailing away in a tea cup! Thanks for sharing your creativity with us.
ReplyDeleteOh my ! The first card is so adorable !
