I felt well enough to make a little set of 4 christmas tags - to be donated to Thomas' preschool christmas fair next week. I love his little preschool - the teachers are so great, and Thomas is my 2nd kid to pass through their halls. I won't lie that I can't wait until Maia is old enough to give me that break of 2 hours, twice a week. Whatever will I do with all that free time? Ha ha.
Each tag is identical, save the critter :) I started out with a craft doily (found in the baking section of Walmart) and sponged it with blue ink. I then layered a die-cut snowflake overtop (it's an SU die), and then a white PTI tag shape. The white tag was stamped in bashful blue ink with the snowflakes from lawn fawn's "critters in the snow." I also stamped "noel" (from PTI's "think big favorites") in memento black ink.
Towards the bottom of each tag, I cut some vellum "snow-drifts" and sprayed them with a white calico mist. The critters were popped up on foam squares.
Thanks for looking!
Oh my, how sweet are these? Those are some truly precious images, and I love how you used them!
ReplyDeleteThose critters are adorable. The tags are gorgeous. Love how you made the snow drifts out of vellum & the spray mist. Love the doily snowflake combination.
ReplyDeleteAdorable!! The little animal images are perfect for your tags and I love the doilies and snowflakes layered behind the tags. So sweet!!
ReplyDeleteThese tags are so beautiful. How kind of you to create them when you are under the weather, and probably only have a minute to yourself each day. I'm sure they will be snatched up in a flash. I was going to tell you which is my favorite, but after careful study, I have to admit that I love them all equally.
ReplyDeleteOh, these are all so sweet, Elena! I love them!
ReplyDeleteI love the snowflakes mounted on the doilies. Gorgeous! :)
ReplyDeleteThese are great! Love the snowflakes!
ReplyDeleteThese are so so so so pretty!!! I love the snowflake mounted on the doily. The soft colors are so pretty and I love the fun images!! It's hard to choose, but I think I love the polar bear the best. Either that or the penguins. :-)
