Hiya!
So happy to have you popping over to my blog today! You should have made your way here by way of Donna - but if you got lost, don't fret - just go back to the lawnscaping blog for a complete list of designers...
Sooo, welcome to our lawnscaping blog hop, inspired by this fall-photo-collage:
The inspiration photos made me want to bake a pumpkin pie and cozy up with a warm quilt while I smelled it baking in the oven ;) Since you can't cozy up with me or sample my delicious pie, I made a paper-quilt to share with you all:
I used the new "winter owl" set by lawn fawn, and turned him from christmas-to-fall by stamping him on kraft cardstock and giving him a pumpkin-colored scarf. The sentiment is from their "check this out" set.
I hope you'll continue hopping with us today! Time to make your way over to Gabrielle's blog. And don't forget to check out the lawnscaping blog for a complete list of details on how you could win prizes! (Did I mention there were prizes??) Ellen Hutson and Lawn Fawn are sponsoring our hop - all you have to do is leave comments on the blogs all along the hop to be eligible, before 11:59pm EST on Sunday, October 7th.
Thanks for coming by!

ReplyDeleteOh gorgeous, gorgeous colors! The paper piecing for the scarf is brilliant. Are the hexagons die-cut, or punched, or hand-cut? I'd like to have something hexagony in my toolset and these look like a good size.
ReplyDeleteThank you! And to answer your question, the hexagons are die-cut - the die is from papertrey ink.

ReplyDeleteHi Elena, First let me just same that when I saw the inspiration photo that is just what I thought as well. lol... We are getting some pretty cool weather right now (34 degrees this morning) and that just makes me want to grab my blanket and read a good book for sure. I love, love the colors that you have used on your card. It really does look like an old fashion home made quilt that was made to stand the test of time. Is that the empression plate from MFT?
