I'm excited to be joining the Newton's Nook team today, showing off their new set, "wagon of wishes."
For my first card, I did what I love to do best: I created a scene by masking the cat-in-the-wagon image and stamping fall leaves all around. The sentiment was curved to nestle right over the leaves. For a bit of extra fall goodness, I die-cut some new lawn fawn leaves - I love them!
For my second card, I created a leafy background with the same leaf cluster as the top card, stamping it randomly onto white cardstock. I blended distress inks on top to make it look more like patterned paper.
I hope you like the cards! Would you like to win a "wagon of wishes" set? 2 lucky winners will be chosen!
Here's how to win:
1. Comment on the Newton's Nook design blog. One winner will be randomly chosen from the August release comments.
2. Comment on the design team and guest designer blogs. One winner will be chosen at random from the August release blog posts. You don't know which blog will be chosen, so comment on all of them for a better chance at winning! You have until Thursday, August 15th at 9pm (CST) to comment - the winners will be announced on the Newton's Nook blog on Friday, August 16th.
