Here is the Moxie Fab Tuesday Trigger photo, all straight-laced and cottage gorgeous:
and here is my out-there and decidedly quirky take on the photo. Look out for these elements, translated into my card: the striped armchair, the gingham rug, the wooden table legs.
I am trying to grab for sets I bought, but that haven't seen ink yet. That little party animal image is one of them. The white panel was already on my desk, and the entire card came together in just about 10 minutes.
I used the kraft card base to mirror the wooden table legs, defined a space for my gingham "rug," and left a lot of white space on my panel. The solid navy balloon animal is my version of that large dresser in the photo.
The longest part of creating this card was waiting for the glossy accents to dry. But that balloon looks like it's jumping off the card, doesn't it? totally worth it.
I'm also entering this card into the 10 minute craft dash birthday bash! My card was completed in 10 minutes, 2 seconds. Truth be told, I was fiddling with the glossy accents at the end, trying to guide it to the edges of the balloon image...
Awesome card, Elena!! The balloon animals looks great with the glossy accents!
