I created some slider cards already this month: a train card for my nephew and a rocket card for a boy's birthday. I also made a pop-up airplane card.
For the blog hop, I wanted to go a different route.
A party on a card-front, lol! I thought this would be a great card to send in the mail... when you couldn't be around to give a birthday hug or celebrate with a dear friend... Plus, it cracks me up to think that the recipient would actually follow those orders...
I didn't do too much stamping on this card. I used the mat stack 1 outline image and journaling lines, and stamped the sentiment from the mat stack 3 set (I left out the word "belated"). I also stamped my mini-clothespin with a grid-pattern image. The birthday instructions are computer-generated. The gorgeous papers are all from My Mind's Eye "love me" pack.
I hope you like it! I have a super-busy day planned, so I hope to hop around this evening :)

ReplyDeleteLeave it to you to take things in a totally unexpected, clever direction. I love this idea, and your card is just darling. Even the mom who needs to clean up after the 'party' won't mind too much, since those circles are much easier to pick up than glitter or confetti. A winner all around.
