critters from the past {lawn fawn inspiration week}

Hi there! it's the first day of lawn fawn inspiration week this month, and we're all about critters from the past.

I used one of lawn fawn's polkadot notecards, and kept it pretty simple (I'll admit, that's my theme for the month, with our 3 birthday parties starting this next weekend!)

All of the greats who do simple well, do it with a twist. A little enamel dot here, some clever die-cutting there.... or, just a dinosaur holding dino-egg-shaped balloons. hee.

I stamped an egg, masked it to stamp the other one behind it, and then drew the balloon end and the string with a copic multiliner.  I also added some extra details to the T-rex.  I love using the copic pens to customize stamps!  Once all of the coloring was done, I cut out the focal image and popped it onto a couple of birthday tags.

I hope you like it!
