Cozy home.

Time for another Papertrey Princess challenge!  Leigh wanted us to create a card using at least 2 different patterned papers...

We had a great time apple and pumpkin picking as a family on the weekend, and it got me in the mood for some fall card-making :)

I cut strips from 5 different patterned papers and wove them together to create my cozy little tapestry...

I grabbed some twill tape and stamped "home" on the side, from PTI's "wreath for all seasons".

My mat stack 4 die-cut was stamped with the image from the same set... I didn't want to hide too much of my woven layer, so I folded the mat stack around the side...

To finish off, here's a picture of my little pumpkin amid a bunch of pumpkins :)  A little taste of the beautiful, but chilly, fall day that inspired today's card.

  1. What a work of art. Just beautiful.

  2. This is gorgeous. Your choice of patterned papers was perfect. The weaving looks beautiful.

  3. Oh, this is beautiful, Elena! I love how you wove the papers together-- I will have to try that...

  4. The woven paper is so pretty!! I love your card! And cute little pumpkin in the pumpkin patch. :-)

  5. Beautiful card. I love everything about it: the PP and how you wove them together, the colors, the wreath for all season as well as the stamped ribbon. Very nice.

  6. What a great background you made with the woven patterned papers.

  7. Your card is beautiful! Love the colors together and the nice edge. Great job with the challenge!
