A crafty break: the anatomy of a meltdown

I was on a crafty roll for awhile, there.  But the long weekend came with such nice weather that I haven't felt the tiniest inkling of wanting to be cooped up in the basement... (I'm sure that'll all change once I get the next summer card camp pdf tomorrow!)

We spent a lot of time outdoors, eating bbq and letting the kids get wet and be dirty.  Evening prayers have been all "thank you God for the best day ever" - what a blessing!

But... obviously when you have little ones, it's not always a picnic.  Here is a photo series, taken entirely for our entertainment... and now yours.  Sofia and her pint-sized bff were traipsing around the backyard, singing and dancing.  Thomas asked them to please play "policeman" or "karate" - which they refused.  What ensued is... a tantrum of dramatic proportions.

Poor little monkey.  Once he let it all out, and got a snuggle from mommy, he was running around and terrorizing his sister and her friend again... everything back to normal.

Hope you all had a great weekend!
